Teh 1.04 Patch - Unique Items Revenge! Paragon Levels! Class changes!

It looks like they have been doing some listening, improving and fixing. From what I understand however, "Legendary" items still do not drop all that often.

The patch was a whopping 17.5 megs which leads me to believe that most of the changes were done server-side.

Well, maybe. But 17.5MB is a shit-ton of code changes, and they didn't add any new textures or anything like that, so all you should have to download is new code.

I don't remember what color legendary items are atm, but I played for 2 hours today and got 5 or 6 with like 5% magic find. Not sure if I was just very lucky or the drop rates were increased.

They still have not fixed the usefulness of the yellows, however. Of the ones I found only 2 were useful for my class (demon hunter) and only one was better than the blue I was wearing.

I've been playing. I like wat I see so far. Made a new, after patch, to give it a fair comparison.

I think what happened is they didn't change the % of uniques that drop, but they made it so that regular mobs can drop higher level items, like uniques. So even though the ratio of other items to uniques is the same, more uniques drop.

the changes are great, i just wish they would fix my intermittent 60 second screen freeze!  I'm dyin ovah heah
